Sunday (28/9/2008)
We woke up at around 8am local time (9am Singapore time) and headed to the buffet breakfast at the Coffee Shop. The free flow of complimentary buffet beakfast will runs until 10.30am local time.
Food like porridge, fried rice, bacons, sausages, fried meehoon, nasi lemak, different types of bread, cakes, fruits, fruits juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereals as well as 3 live cooking kiosks, namely egg station (to cook scrambled egg and omellete), pancake station, sunny side up station (egg as well) can be seen there.
Today's schedule wasn't really well planned, we just want to experiece few things like kayaking, ATV, Pasar Oleh Oleh, dip into the sea and swimming pool, if have time then one more round of air rifle and archery before 5pm as all outdoor activities ended at this time.

Pasar Oleh Oleh to the bus in a bad way, all vehicles were waiting to get off our access to other buses.
Our first expedition was to go Pasar Oleh oleh, however the bus broke down at the point of 2km away from our destination. Some tourists even took pictures of the unfortunate bus, it was so funny.

We just walk around and see that the purpose of his "journey" of the fee is per person SGD6. This is due to the purpose-built for tourists, so we asked if going to Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia's true that cities and a market, can call Texaco, the distance of about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
This Pasar is built by the resort, mainly for tourists to have a feel of Bintan's market, meaning it is a fake market, you can find lots of survenier, bikinis, clothes, restaurants, spa and massage services (this is cheaper than resort, full body massage is only SGD28 wherareas resort charge SGD58). Frankly, if you don't have anything to buy, you can omit this. But the good thing is you can get a cab to their real market at Tanjung Pinang.

About 1:00 or so, we are back to the resort, had to play Action ATV Adventure of the off-road sports car, but this time it was, so the book before 16:00 to play. That is why we go to play a row. We are not a picture.
We then headed to play Sea Kayaking. Obviously those in the picture are not us, we got to wear the stupid life jacket, it's just that we forgot to take picture, haha. Charge for kayaking is SGD18 per hour.
Action ATV Adventure here we come!!!

Staff on driving methods, the distance is 1 hour, the two charges SGD80, after we follow his journey.
We paid SGD80 for 2 persons of one hour adventure. I was so anticipated to hop onto this while pretenting listening to the briefing by the staff of Action All Terrain Vehicles (ATV). If you know how to drive an Auto-car, it is nothing different for you. Unless you never try driving before .... just like Munkey!

An exciting journey is about to begin!
Yes, brave girl go first. I took charge of the ATV for the first half an hour.

We have gone through the woods, the rugged mountain road, and the breathtaking slopes of 80 degrees! In fact, this is the slow motion, shock degrees 20 minutes.
Slope! The staff helped us to took this picture. He asked me to just press the brake without acceleration, so the ATV won't run too fast for him to capture this, haha.

We crossed the sea side and drove on the sand!

I took this picture while Munkey was driving. (Yay, I got to credit him and let people know he did drive!)

This was his FIRST TIME driving, and the road was far more bumpy than those in the city.
Well done!

Finish off the excitement of the off-road sports car, we went to sea foam, the evening sun drying, and then to enjoy the swimming pool Jacuzzi.

In the evening to the hotel's downstairs dining restaurant South Korea.
Dinner settled at the Korean restaurant named JeJu.

Spicy Seafood Miantang
This is "Champang" a spicy seafood udon with prawns, oysters, squids, spring onions and onions.

Peanut cold
This is a cold noodle with peanut soup. The texture of the soup is too sticky.

Korean side dishes
Two side dishes, kimchee and Korean rice jelly.

Bintan to play in terms of safety, drink, or do not have to worry. However, the most important thing is to have a choice of a number of indoor and outdoor activities of the hotel. This is because the Bintan in the north of all hotel and drink all these areas are established for the visitors, is everything.
However, Bintan would like to watch the local villages into local life will be a little inconvenient for passengers. Because almost all accommodation is located in the north, while the real towns and villages are located in tourist areas to leave at least 1-1 hours and a half away. So here it can be said that a radius of ten are not country folk, even if there are only engaged in hotel and tourism industry staff, Ha ha.
All resorts are built at the Bintan Resorts area, the rest of the map are none accessible if you are staying at the resorts. You'll only see "fake" Malay village, market, shop, restaurant and stuff within the Bintan Resort area. Thus you got to hire a cab to bring you out of this touristy area.
Nirwana Garden Resort is located at the left side of the Bintan Resorts area, and I think there is also some other 5-star hotels like Bintan Lagoon Resort, Banyan Tree are located at the right side.
Tanjung Uban is a fisherman's village, and Tanjung Pinang is Bintan's major town. If you want to go Tanjung Pinang / Tanjung Uban directly from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, there are different companies offering direct ferry as well, meaning you don ' t need to select BRF but other company over the counters.
